The Copper Door in Bedford has long been my families favorite, and we had the opportunity to try the NEW Salem, NH location and the experience was absolutely AMAZING! And for the restaurant just opening, the service was more than outstanding for a seasoned restaurant. If you have the opportunity to go, I highly recommend it!

Little pricey but worth it for what you get. You can't go wrong with a choice. It's all delicious. Service was excellent. Great for a date night.

The wait staff was great. The food was great. I had the soup of the day which was a sinfully thick and creamy corn chowder. It came with oyster crackers, but I sent them back because I feel crackers don't usually has be a place in a soup. Instead, dipped the bread in the chowder. Their bread was watt and delicious. I ordered the shepherd's pie without mushrooms. It was great, but for one problem, the design of the dish wad more of and island of mashed potatoes surrounded by the rest. While there was more mashed potatoes than another restaurant in the area, I ran out of potatoes before I was finished. I think a good rule of thumb is to have a bite of potatoes worth each bite of the dish. That's the reason I gave it only four stars.

Good food, poor seating arrangement for two... Stuck at end of 10 top. Service was good. Soup was Luke warm. Albeit on a busy night. Staff needs to be more cognizant of desired seating. Will be back again.

Absolutely my favorite place to go in the area.
I prefer the bar/lounge area as opposed to the formal dining room. Regulars who sit at the bar make having a drink there fun! Lounge farmers tables mean you're bound to meet new people while you're dining. And don't miss The Roost! It's hard to get in but it's seat yourself, no waiting if there is space available. It's kind of romantic in there but the little side tables at small so it's a better place for drinks and appetizers instead of a full dinner for a party of 4.
The food is consistently good...really good. Everything is fresh and made to order.
Try a Copper Door Cosmo. They are my absolute favorite. If Martinis are more your thing, try the monthly martini and cupcake set....as of this post (Sept 2017) they've paired a s'mores martini with cupcake. Yum!
