I needed endoscopic sinus surgery on my right side. I was terrified that it was going to be painful afterwards because I've heard a lot of horror stories about this procedure I woke up kind of sore but not enough to take the pain medication that was prescribed, hell I was up doing dishes that same night. I even joked and asked Dr. Purdom if he did it right because I didn't feel a thing!😂 He said well I'll take that as a compliment! It did however, take a few months to heal up., that was 4 years ago. I trust that he knows what he's doing and is a very personable guy!

I came in needing a nasal septoplasty (functional surgery for deviated septum) as I couldn't breathe from one nostril. It was explained that I 'must do' the rhinoplasty as well as it is one procedure(cosmetic end). I agreed.

I expected a functional and cosmetic result, and recieved neither. After the fact they claimed it could take a year to settle. Almost a year later, my nose is still unaligned, and I still have little to no breathing ability from one nostril, depending on the day.
