A HAVE TO GO experience. Definitely going back. I went with a friend months ago and it was amazing. You can wander wherever you want throughout the entire Reformatory. They have great employees, a ton of cool info for almost every room, and a neat gift shop. Super cheap and totally worth going more than once. I highly recommend going if you like spooky historical stuff. They even allow you to "ghost hunt" with your own equipment.

Went for the Escape from Blood Prison experience and loved it. The staff is great and the building was amazing. I'll definitely be back both for the Halloween event and the general tour. Highly recommend the touch pass.

Great haunted event. They did great job acting, decorating, special effects.
Gets crowded. Food, drink trucks set up.
Group also did race in Spring. Well organized, plenty of parking. Money raised is sorely needed to maintain and restore historic place 2017, Blood Prison(this is our 3rd time in a year, would like to do paranormal tour)visit...you will be scared. Well worth extra$ to not stand in the long lines.

Lines are 2-3 1/2. Fast pass is worth it. Spend a nice length of time within the prison. Arguably the best haunted house I’ve been through. The prison itself is creepy alone and realizing people really lived sentences there is astonishing. Cells as high as the celling. Paints chipped so bad it looks like the titanic submerged in the sea. Spiral narrow staircases to the cells seem impossible to climb. Happy I had the experience.

The public ghost hunt was fun, informative & somewhat unsettling all at the same time. My personal opinion is for those 18 and older this is the best way to experience the Reformatory even if you don't believe in the paranormal. The night includes an optional guided tour of the prison followed by lights out & several hours to explore most of the facility at your leisure. Food and beverages are provided in the Bullpen during the event which is also the only lighted area after the lights are turned off. The experience with a small group of friends and family was definitely unique.
