The place was crowded and noisy, but friendly and good. The food seem authentic Cajun. As we were leaving we noticed the patio and was surprised to hear and see a soloist trumpet player. He was good and would have stayed longer to hear him (he was muted).
Linda and I had two entrees and two beer for $32.
The building the very old Krystal Restaurant across from the Sears Crosstown Building. And that's a sight to see.

This place is amazing! The location is great (right next to the new Crosstown Concourse).
The food is well seasoned and tastes authentic and the prices are not too bad either . You can expect a meal to cost about $15-20 average. All in all , a great place if you’re craving cajun or creole food!

My first time coming here was absolutely amazing to the part where every time I come here now it feels like home because I've came here so much. I've even recommend this place to sone friends and family members and even they like it. The customer service is very homely and kind, even the manager will come out to check out how's everything with people and how they feel about the food.

I love the concept here and the fact that this restaurant is helping to bring life back to the Crosstown community.
The pricing on the menu is pretty awesome. If you're a large family, you'll definitely get the most bang for your buck.
The food itself is really flavorful. My side salad was delicious. I love when restaurants really dice your salad into bite-sized pieces. The dressing was on par with the salad. Blue Cheese dressing is hit and miss. This was a hit.
For my main meal, I got the chicken and sausage gumbo - what a savory flavor. No to-go container - no leftovers. The rice that accompanies the gumbo was cooked to perfection.
The staff was eager to make sure diners had a good experience.
