The Formal Garden at Overton Park is amazing! I had my wedding ceremony here and it was just beautiful! A hidden gem in Memphis as I had never seen this garden the entire time growing up here. My pictures were beautiful.

Beautiful, well planned urban park is a true piece of Memphis and regional history, featuring golf course, Levitt Shell, gardens, and a large open greensward. Unfortunately, the Memphis zoo continues to increase its encroachment on this wonderful park

One of the best local parks. Located near Memphis Zoo in midtown, Overton Park is sprawling and welcome. Concerts and events galore, familes and kids - the park is a jewel in gritty Memphis.

One of my favorite parks...great walking trails, the zoo, golf, the Brooks museum, and an enclosed dog.play area. The park is dog friendly. Take a break and enjoy!

Nice place to walk around. If you have a dog I would recommend the Shelby Farm dog park. It is further out if you live in mid town , but so much more room.
