Walmart Pharmacy

I injured my eye about a week ago, I went to Primary health who looked at it and said I should see an eye specialist. I didn't have insurance so they gave me a prescription discount card. I went to this eye specialist who prescribed me an eye drop which was pretty expensive 144 dollars. I was hoping Wal-Mart could give me a good price but wound up paying in full because I forgot to use the discount card I was just given that day.

About a week later after seeing the doc 3 times he prescribes me a steroid to help with the healing. This time I decide to go to Walgreens pharmacy and because it was expensive again the Walgreens associate was looking for discounts she could offer. I saw the prescription card in my wallet and asked her to try it. I was amazed as was she at the discount it gave me.
So I decided I would see if Wal-Mart could run it for the savings as I had forgotten to use it. I didn't realize it hadn't been activated until I used it at Walgreens. The Wal-Mart associate was also amazed at the discount it gave, he questioned it and then went to his pharmacist. When he came back he said because it was just activated yesterday they would deny me credit. It felt as though he didn't want to help me but rather just deny me. I am upset, this isn't an insurance card, its to help those who don't have insurance. But it seems Wal-Mart pharmacies don't wish to help those without insurance so this is due my noted.

There are always lines. Always. They also close on Saturday's and Sunday's from 130p-2p for lunch. I have frequently had issues with filling prescriptions, whereas the pharmacy doesn't have enough of the supply to fill it.
