First time here for my sons 16th birthday. It was a bit disappointing. The food and service was just ok. We had to ask for drink refills several times. But that happens. When we made the reservation, we told them it was for a birthday. But that was never even acknowledged. We watched a guy sing happy birthday to 2 other parties and finally asked if the restaurant does anything special for birthdays. Our server said he could ask the guy to come sing. 10 minutes later we were still waiting so we just paid our check and left. We got the impression it was too much trouble to come over to the table. Our family has always enjoyed going to places where we are made to feel special on birthdays. This was not one of those places.

Our first time at Louie's last night, went about 7pm missed the wait list and crowd. It was a great atmosphere and some of the best Italian food we have eaten in a long long time. Great food, Great service. Our new favorite place to have Italian, and let's not forget about the yummy garlic bread..

Our servers name was John R. Older gentleman with a clean cut beard. He was INCREDIBLE.
He sang for some older ladies having a birthday get together next to us (and he was pleasant to listen to!), he was very quick and attentive to us, he brought our pizza dough and toppings for us to "make it ourselves," he boxed up all our food for us AND when I forgot my toddlers leftovers he ran outside and to the stop sign by the main road to give it to us! He went above and beyond!
The pizza was amazing, the Barbe Rose salad was delicious (we called it the "Boss Ross"), chicken Parmesan was good as well! Over all wonderful experience, the music selection was very nice as well!
As visitors to Boise from Texas it was a nice treat to come to a restaurant with such amazing service and good food!

We liked using the backroom for a wedding rehearsal dinner. We fit 50 people with no problem. Special mention of our server, John, is needed; he was exceptional. He was good at remembering names, which makes people feel special. Plus he sang a song for the couple, and he was quite good. Like really good.
The food was tasty! I could have easily gone back for thirds but they didn't have a chair that would wheel me out.
