There's a reason this place gets terrible reviews. Staff is unhelpful, it's expensive, skill is lacking. Stay away from the Banfield in Pet Smart on Eagle Rd. No treatment is better than treatment from Banfield.

So far so good with Banfield vets. My dog is on the puppy plan and we were able to finance her spay. They did a great job for her surgery as well. Sometimes they can get busy but they’ve always cared for my dog well. Even got her in when she was feeling down.

We have been with Banfield Pet Hospital for 5 years and have seen so many different vets I stopped counting. The breaking point for us was when we had a small emergency and were told they couldn't fit us in at either Boise or Meridian facility. They have a sign clearly posted that says emergency visits will be taken first. On top of that we pay over a $100.00 a month for our pet care plans which include 1 emergency visit per year and then to be told to take our fur baby somewhere else and have to pay for a service I already paid for. Shame on you Banfield!!!! You should reimburse me for my vet bill.

I'm disappointed in Banfield of Meridian's support and communication in treating my pet. I brought my dog in for a routine check up and they found he had worms which they prescribed medication for. They requested a follow up stool sample after the medication was administered. I asked if they needed to see my dog and if I needed to schedule a follow up appointment. They said no appointment was necessary, that I could drop off a sample. I asked the same question again the next day when I picked up the medication, same answer. A week later I dropped off the sample and they took my info and I left. A few days later I didn't hear anything from them so I called and they had to "check" on the status. Now they tell me they cannot take a drop off sample and I need to bring my dog in. Didn't tell me this when I dropped the sample off, didn't call me back, and now I have to schedule a future appointment which I was not planning on. Banfield dropped the ball on communication on this one.

We have been using Banfield for several years and have always felt the veterinarians did a fantastic job in caring for our pets. Recently we had to have our dog put down because of lung cancer. Dr. Greg was so caring and sensitive throughout the process. We greatly appreciate not only his professionalism but his personal care and empathy in helping us through a difficult situation.
