I don’t know where to begin. I don’t wish any ill towards this Vet, but I hope they learn from my bad experiences and improve their business. I had four bad experiences involving this Vet:

1. Being a new puppy owner, I had no idea when to bring my puppy in for his vaccines and every time I was finished with one, they would send me on my way without telling me when to come back. So obviously, I had to call back and figure out when the next round was. I feel like this should be something they fix.

2. My puppy had to have surgery on his hernia. However, after a month or so, the hernia was back. Come to find out, they simply did a desolving stitch and hoped it would heal itself. Although they apologized and assured me that they should have cut along the outter edge of the muscle so it would have actually healed itself, it was a little too late and $$$ went down the drain.

3. I knew I was new at this and relied on the vets word 100%. So, when my 4 month old German Shepherd was obviously eating all his food and not gaining weight because of his diarrhea, obviously I was concerned. I called numerous times asking when I should bring him in. Over and over again they told me my puppy should be fine because he was playing, eating and drinking. When it came to the last vaccine/ check up they told me my puppy was under weight. All I wanted to do was scream, “NO DUH!” Something wasn’t right, and somehow I was the only one who knew that.

4. The last phone call I made and the last factor that made me realize that this Vet didn’t care about me or my pup was when I heard the receptionist (before I was managed to be put on hold), “It’s Alyson calling about the pup... again.”

Let me tell you now what happened, I changed vets ASAP. My new Vet was able to get me in the next day. They concluded that Jax had giardia and was treated for it. It only took 3 DAYS and my puppy had solid poops and started gaining healthy weight. If Linder Vet would have looked at me like a pet owner who was concerned rather than a burden, maybe my puppy would have been healthier a lot sooner. It’s unfortunate that this happened, but I’m at a place who loves Jax just as much as I do, which matters. Plus, they told me to call them anytime. They understand I am new at this and want to make sure Jax is happy and healthy.

Dr. Ormond helped our 2 feral cats with his angelic healing touch. He is the best doctor that anyone could hope for. He will be our families veterinarian for many years to come. We are so grateful!

We have been taking our dogs to Dr. Orhem for 7 years now. He is the most thoughtful, kind and understanding doctor we have ever had. his dad started the practice as a mobile vet and built a reputation of caring and excellence in the Treasure Valley that his son has continued. When we had to have a dog put down, he spent a long time talking to us about the spirit of pets, the rainbow bridge, etc, but first made sure we were comfortable talking about spiritual concepts. Amazing. He stopped by our place for a pre-op examination and recommended we don't do the surgery...at least for now. This is how we believe every pet owner should be treated. Bravo

This vet was recommended to me by a co-worker so I took my dog, that obviously had some sort of health issue going on, to them. They told me what they assumed the issue was, ran blood work, told me the pills that they thought we would need were out of stock, and that they would call me with the results of the blood work and to let me know when the pills came in. They never called. I had to call them back to get the results and pills. I thought maybe it was just a slip up so I gave them another shot when my dog stopped eating after giving him the prescribed pills. They thought he had a blockage and said he needed an ultrasound. I agreed to that and they said they would call me with appointment dates. They never called. They have a nice pay plan that is better than other vets but you certainly get what you pay for. I would not recommend this vet to anyone if you love your pets.

These guys are great for general vaccination and simple questions. I how ever would NOT take my dog back for another major procedure!! My pup went in to be neutered and was crypt. When I got the call that the surgery was done they also let me know the cost was double what I was originally told. I was not walked through the process or warned what kind of misery I would have to deal with for the next several days. I called the day after to voice my concern and ask questions and was basically told that there wasn't any thing else they could do for me at this time. Had I known before hand this would be my experience I would have absolutely gone else where for second opinions. My poor pup now has a 6" long incision down his belly that is bright red and highly irritated. Thanks for all your help Linder Pet Med!
