The vet clinic is a rip off. They charge the highest prices possible for each service. I got a dental cleaning estimate for my cat at $1,000. That is an absolute scam! It should only be a few hundred at most. And of course she says they might have to pull a tooth while they are in there and that would be extra, but they can’t tell until they are cleaning his mouth. I found the vet to be rude when I asked about prices or why certain things were necessary. The vet took up an “I am smarter than you/better than you,” attitude. I feel bad for all the people that just naively take their animals here and pay these high prices. I’ve had my cat’s teeth looked at by a previous vet and he said they were just fine. Just another way for me to verify this scammy place. I suggest going somewhere they truly care about your pet and not your pocket book. It is a risk for your pet to be put under for an unreasonable amount of money. They are also one of the only vet clinics I called that would not give prices over the phone..their excuse was that, “prices change all the time...” Right...super scammy place.

We have been taking our dog to River City now for 8 years. We have used their veterinary, grooming and boarding services and are very happy with them all. We receive emails to remind us of our appointments, and can log on to their web site at any time to check our dogs records. Would highly recommend River City to everyone.

Dexter and Lulu are new to this office. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Lulu is a new rescue and she already had an eye issue shortly after the introduction visit. They were able to get her in right away. The staff evaluated her eye and gave us medication to get her better. I would recommend RCVH to anyone. My wife and I are looking forward to bringing our dogs here for years to come.

Excellent veterinary clinic! Just moved here from Texas and the veterinarian and staff are wonderful. Very professionally run office that is immaculately maintained. So happy we found this excellent clinic here for our sweet dog.

I've taken my pup here for about 3 years with no issues up until recently. I scheduled for Savannah to get groomed over the phone with no problems. When I showed up to my appointment (it's a 30 minute drive for me, and I have a 2 year old who I had to skip nap time because of this appointment) I was informed one of her shots was not up to date and so she couldn't be seen. When I asked why no one told me when I scheduled the appointment all I got was a sorry and a "well we can schedule her to get her shots...that will be another $65 for the visit plus the price of shots on top of that". No I'm not going to spend MORE money. I get she had to have her shots, that's not the issue. But had I been informed prior when my appointment was set up, I wouldn't have made the appointment and wasted an hour of my time driving. I would have scheduled her an appointment to get her shots. Now, I'll be taking her elsewhere to get both done.
