The downstairs has a bit of a formal feel to it. The upstairs was great. They played 80s rock and had sports on the TV. They have ten out so local craft beers the ones I tried were great. For dinner I had the redfish and fried green tomatoes. It was fabulous. Highly recommend you give this place a try. This is not just a great restaurant in Meridian it is a top restaurant any where in the country.

We just happened upon this historical gem and we are so glad we did! The food and beer were amazing but the best was our interaction with Michelle, our server! She was beyond awesome not only as a server but just as an individual and we are so happy to have met her. She really made our dinner very special!

The real deal... don’t miss it if you’re in Meridian. I ordered takeout but once I got there I wished I had stayed to enjoy the whole experience. Billie holiday playing on the jukebox, overall wonderful environment. Fried green tomatoes with their 1820 sauce (with shrimp) was delicious. Meridian is one funky old town!

The food and service were excellent. I had the crab cake on a fried green tomato. This was excellent. Had the side of Hoppin' John on the recommendation of our waitress. Never had it before and loved it. Also had the best waitress ever. Don't miss this historic restaurant. You will love it!

Ate here last night and my mouth is still shouting Hallelujah! Well, metaphorically speaking...
Had a T Bone special with house gumbo, grilled asparagus and was blown away by all. My pals loved their food, too.
Great ambiance, killer service, friendly folks- I'd say as a northerner, "if this is southern hospitality, bring it on!"
If you're in or passing through Meridian, make this your first stop!
