We visited on a Friday night and although they were busy we had great service. Food arrived quickly and was much to our liking. Shack sauce was AWESOME! The manager checked on us and the server was attentive. Highly recommend this place.

I hate changes to my food, especially when craving for a specific taste. Overall has always been go to spot for me. But lately Hot & Juicy has giving me my crab fix.

This place has very mediocre and overpriced food.
My 2 friends and I shared food and had similar experiences.
The three Mahi fish tacos I ordered had less fish and slaw combined than one of the tacos pictures on the menu.
The fried fish one of my friends got was also a small portion, and lacked any taste.
My other friend got a flavorless crab steam pot basket and ironically the best tasting thing in it was the sausage.
I was also disturbed by the wasteful plastic netting they used to line the basket which is very wasteful and detrimental to the environment. I'd be a hypocrite if I didn't admit that eating seafood and sausage is bad for the environment, but the netting is only aesthetic and it only gets in the way of trying to eat the meal, so it is a bad choice.
Overall I was not impressed and could have gotten comparable food for much cheaper at Long John Silvers.

The service was great, the food was good but they didn't have oysters at the time which I was craving! I instead got a pot full of crab, which was a pretty good alternative. Overall I was pretty satisfied with Joe's Crab Shack and will probably eat here again, it was just also a little pricey.
