VCA Mesa is great! We were sad about switching vets when we moved to Mesa, but we've had nothing but great experiences with Mesa VCA for wellness exams, illness/injury visits and surgery. We usually see Dr. Velez and she is great! All of the staff, from the receptionists to the techs to the doctors are pleasant and helpful. They try to get your pet into a private room right away to avoid sitting in the waiting room. Before doing any interventions, they will answer questions, go over treatment options and give you a price list beforehand, so you know exactly how much you are paying. After seeing our sick pets, they call us at home to check up and see how they are doing. Also, if it's your first visit to VCA, you get a free exam! Just check the VCA website for the coupon.

This place only cares about money. After spending several thousand dollars trying to find out what was wrong with my dog, I needed an endoscope which cost $2000 and couldn't afford it. Instead of doing the right thing for the sake of my dog and doing the procedure to find out what was wrong, they wouldn't do it unless I paid. I checked around to see if any other clinic had endoscope capability but none did. Sure they're nice if you don't have any serious problems, but when your pets life is on the line be sure to have care credit.

Friendly staff. Works with AZ Humane Society to offer some free follow-up care for adopted animals. They are gentle and understanding with their patients. They involve the owner in the treatment process by explaining everything clearly and providing all the options. The wait times are minimal and they get you into a private room to wait where your pet can roam around a bit and settle down. They seem genuine and inspire trust. They send reminders via mail and email and eCards for your pet's birthday.

Not our first visit. We drive out of the way to come to the office due to professionalism from the staff and friendliness. They always do there best to make sure the animal is comfortable and has what they need. We'll be back.

My cat Sid and I really enjoyed our appointment. Everyone was very nice and helpful. The Doctor explained everything and was absolutely wonderful. Most of all everyone including the Doctor really made Sid feel comfortable! I would recommend this animal hospital to everyone!!!!!
