The James hotel was very welcoming to me, the staff were great friendly me and my friend stayed here from 10/08 until 10/12/2017, I made memories on my first trip to Florida! Because of the James I want to come back, they have reasonable prices and the hotel has tons of personality, with their decor it almost tells a story, like reading a pop up book in elementary, really felt great in here! And the owner is such a great person! I will be coming back here every time I book a trip back to Miami ❤️

Awful, smelly, nasty place! It is EXTREMELY noisy and offers no comforts of a hotel. If I could give less than one star, I would. Please don't waste your time. The bathroom was not cleaned AT ALL prior to arrival! This place is clearly unsanitary and not suitable for anyone who wants some small semblance of decency.

We would recommend the James to anyone who values cleanliness and affordability! It is a very cute "art deco" family run hotel, within walking distance to just about anything you'd want to do in the area. We will be coming back

pretty good hotel. no swimming pool the guy that sits in the lobby is very rude. The location of the hotel is everything though! right around the corner from everything. if you are just wanting a place to sleep after a long day i would recommend!! stay away from the older guy that just sits there he could be very rude. hes there everymorning. I do not mean to be so abrupt about him. We did not deserve him being rude to us!

Cute and quaint hotel located in the heart of South Beach. The hotel has a very cozy and authentic Latin feel, and there are great shops, great eats, and entertainment nearby. Upon arrival to the hotel, my guest and I were greeted by James who was truly welcoming, amicable, and very hospitable. Cleaning staff were wonderful also and did a superb job. We were truly satisfied with the level of service and I would definitely return to James Hotel... hopefully sometime soon because Miami is mesmerizing!
