While Flamingo Park has lots of options for family fun with kids playground, pool, tennis courts, etc. the dog park is terrible. There are two gated areas for dogs. One is dogs under 25 lbs and the other is for dogs over 25lbs. This has never been followed. In addition, the dog park is constantly either under construction or completely flooded and muddy during most of the year. On my most recent visit, I could not even walk around because the ground was inches deep in mud and unkept grounds along with fresh dog sh**t that Sobe visitors/dog owners neglected to pick up. Oh...btw...all the dogs in the "under 25 lbs park area" were over 50 lbs. My 17 lbs dog and I left and went to Pine Tree dog park after one quick walk around in which my shoes got covered in mud and other stuff. Unfortunate, because this dog park is more convenient for me.

I think the team should handle the same guidelines and information to avoid wasting time. When you call them, they give you an information and when you go to the site it is other information. I'm disappointed in the place

Beautiful park for people of all ages! There is a great track and field that I use to workout. The bathrooms there are also well kept (especially for being in South Beach) and water fountains usually have cold water.
