I haven't been to Hawaii but if the big Maui is anything like this, I'm not going!

I wanted to write a detailed (and scathing) review about our (my wife and I) visit to this "spa" yesterday but after reading the other reviews on Yelp, I'll save my energy. All the bad things that were mentioned are true.

Let me summarize: DO NOT GO THERE, it will be an unpleasant experience! Some people just shouldn't own a business where they have to interact with clients and the owner of this place is certainly one of them. Let them go bankrupt, I say!

What a JOKE!!! I took my boyfriend here for the couples massage for Valentines day. We have both been to spa before & know what to expect. I called to set up our appointment the woman on the phone told me she was the owner,she was not friendly at all. We arrived at the building Brickell by the River,Nice building,no signs for Spa anywhere. We finally find it. It is a two room office. The woman says hello than says that the other masseuse has stepped out for a moment,she then turns on a loud you tube video of a piano song,very ghetto. She offers my boyfriend and I hot white wine. She then asked my boyfriend to open the bottle!! We then tell the woman that someone down stairs told us the spa was on the 10th floor and we had some trouble finding it. In front of us she whips out her infamous cell phone which you will hear all about in a moment,she calls down stairs and says ''My clients here said you told them the spa was on the 10th floor,why would you do that? Yes that's what they said''. Can someone say? Uncomfortable! Finally the other woman comes,she is a young girl. When she walked in their was such an odd vibe between the owner & the girl. I believe she was her daughter. The girl didn't speak & was very skittish around the other owner. We don't fill out any paper work because we are told the printer ran out of ink,they were trying to replace it but I suppose like the bottle of wine she couldn't open they cant do that either. We then go into a room,my boyfriend gets the bed with the hole to put your face in,I get a crappy one and an eye mask. The owner basically beat the hell out of my body not in a good way,she would do both sides different & tended to do a sawing motion the whole time. During our ENTIRE MASSAGE the owners cell phone was vibrating!! I could not believe it. After the first few times I thought okay she is going to shut it off. It went on the whole 60 minutes!!!!! Than she said she was going to put a hot towel on,I liked that idea but not after I saw the microwave in our room. It was like she was cooking something,she walked out & the microwave was beeping along with her stupid cell phone vibrating. This is by far the WORST want to be spa I have ever been too. I said sorry to my boyfriend for this experience. I left this place feeling like I was hearing a vibrating cell phone. Do NOT GO!!

PATHETIC. Go to Yelp for my full review but please, whatever you do, DO NOT waste your time or money on this location. Do yourself a favor and pay a little bit more for a quality massage.
