WORST SALON SERVICE!!!!!! THEY WERE RUDE AND THEIR GROUPON IS A LIE I WENT IN FOR A TRIM AND STYLE AND THEY WANTED ME TO PAY $50 FOR A BLOW DRY EVEN THOUGH IT WAS INCLUDED IN THE GROUPON! THEY ARE THE WORST SERVICE POSSIBLE I WILL NEVER GO THEIR AGAIN

Horrible horrible experience! They did a terrible cut in my daughter hair I'm so furious! And she (Marion) didn't took responsibility. She charged me more then what they told me on the phone and she excused that the person who told me that was having a bad time. I do not recommend to go to anyone.

I just left this salon, after a gift groupon was used. To start, a trim turned into at least 7 inches of my hair lying on the floor. I'm not sure how "trim just the ends" was misunderstood, but there you have it. This was the "pre-cut" the real cut where more hair was taken off came after. The groupon included color which I cannot tell if it is what I wanted since my hair is still wet. I've never had my hair cut and the stylist not dry the hair at the end, to be fair, it was not detailed in the groupon. So I now have wet, dyed, short hair and go to settle my groupon to find I am being charged an additional $40 long hair fee (no longer will be an issue given my unwanted SHORT hair) and gratuity. In the end, this was a very costly mistake and I write this to prevent someone else from making it

Horrible customer service! I was charged an additional $35 for "long" hair. I have shoulder length hair! i got a TRIM! Any smart manager would have contacted me and refunded my $35. I am new to the area and was looking for a salon. I liked the haircut, but come on!

$69 for TRIM and color and then charged $35 at the end when I checked out.

Please review all the reviews on Yelp for Matisse because they are not good. Believe me, I wish I read them before I went.

After moving to Miami just over a month ago I was in desperate need of tending to my hair. I found Matisse Hair on Groupon and figured since I'm new to town and didn't know anyone to recommend a salon I'd go for it.
I will say the location is situated in a small plaza with a tight parking lot, however coming from NYC I am used to businesses being in small locations. Upon entering Matisse Hair I was pleasantly surprised by the decor and overall cleanliness of the salon. I was immediately greeted by the owner, Jeanne, and two stylists, Elena and Marcela, who were extremely welcoming and friendly and promptly sat me down and got straight to work.
I was so pleased by the services I received I will most certainly be going back again and as I meet and make new friends here in Miami, I will definitely recommend this salon to them!
