I no longer live in Miami but am posting because they deserve it. I used to have a SharPei, with skin allergies that flared up quite regularly. They would work with me, on my budget, and help her every time. It’s not a fancy place, they’ve been there for at least 20+ years but they are family owned and so true to their service and knowledgeable. Sometimes their manner with their patients’ parents wasn’t great but I took it as they preferred the animals and that was A-ok with me. I took 3 pets there and they helped every single time. If I was to move back to Miami, I would definitely take my girl back! Thanks for always helping us out!

Both Dr. M and his daughter are amazing vets. I lived in the Grove for two years and have been taking my three dogs there ever since and I have never had a bad experience. They remember my dogs' names and are always friendly. AND THEY ARE EXTREMELY AFFORDABLE. Probably the cheapest vet visits I have ever had. Our black lab needed some fatty tumors biopsied and they did it for free. There is no other vet like this in Miami. They are not charging you for a fancy office. You are only being charged for your pets' needs. The bad reviews on here are ridiculous. One lady seemed neurotic because the vet didn't give her a step-by-step explanation (Why didn't she ask questions like every other normal person?). The other bad review was made by another neurotic human because the vet didn't want to write four prescriptions for food so her ridiculous cat could have "variety". Get over yourself. People like that need to stop wasting people's time. If your animals need care, go see either Dr. M at this location and your animals will receive the best care for the most affordable prices. I will never go anywhere else.

Awesome vet! We just adopted two 8 year old chihuahuas from the shelter and brought them in for their first check up. One of our pups has heartworm and the shelter didn't really explain the symptoms or treatment (and it's side effects) to us at all, but the vet spent the time to answer all of our questions/concerns and get our pup on the best treatment plan! They were so good with our nervous boys and handled them so well when they had to draw blood. So happy we chose this to be our vet and take care of our boys! We left with happy chihuahuas and peace of mind knowing our babies are in good hands.

First time ever going there today! Arrived at 1:55 on a monday and at 2 o'clock they let you right in. Was the second person there and quickly signed in and they registered my dog because she was a first-time patient.

Waited maybe 3 min sitting down and Dr. Mike called my doggies name. Gave her a good look over, took her temp, looked at her eyes and checked her breathing. we then talked about her health and he answered a couple of my questions and prescribed me the medicine She needed. Sweet and simple, took maybe 30 min in total, We'll see if this medicine does the trick if not I'll be back and I have a new load of questions for him!

In conclusion, I walked out of there with most of my money left and my mind was at ease!

I've had consistently good experiences -- more importantly, my dogs have had consistently good experiences. The Marmeshes are terrific vets, and they really have a gentle way with animals. Treatments have been invariably effective, and I've no intention of going elsewhere. Only quibble is the inability to arrange an appointment. I have on an occasion or two waited more than an hour, and in a waiting room packed with animals that is challenging. But like I say, this is the place for me, and I'm grateful for the quality attention given to my pups.
