I am writing this review on behalf of my mother. She wrote it up and I posted it for her:

My FIV positive cat was neglected at Le Jeune Animal Clinic before & during Hurricane Irma. I was notified 9/7/17 when his assistant called me a day before the hurricane to let me know that the next day, they were closing at 3:00pm. Apparently, they decided to closed the office earlier than what they told me over the phone. I went to pick my cat at 1:30 pm. When I got there 9/8/17 the office was already closed. The phone line was disconnected and no emergency number was available. I called the cops, and they told me they couldn't do anything since it was a civil matter, the only time they went to feed my cat was one time after the hurricane had already passed. Two days passed after someone finally came by to check on him. I came by and he didn't even have water. I felt incredibly helpless with no one doing anything for the cat. The doctor is rude and treated me very unprofessionally on 9/11/17 when I saw him outside the office and I tried get the cat back. He refused to return the cat to me since he had no staff to help. I had to come back 6 days later. I was able to get my cat back September 14, 2017 when they they came back to work.

The staff isn't qualified to deal with difficult feral cats, they lack the ability to handle a cat under stress due to fear and pain of an infected wound. However, the cat's wound kept getting infected. The cat was restrained to be sedated on 4 different occasions since the wound kept getting infected each time. They kept blaming it on the fact he had FIV. I had taken rescued feral cats with FIV positive to have surgery of wounds or tumors at other vets and I have never had a bad experience. Unfortunately, the other vet was away on vacation therefore, I had no choice but to end up at this horrible place with a terrible experience for the cat and myself.

So thankful to have found Dr. Perez. My dog had an extremely large tumor. I took her to Knowles Animal Clinic where they said it probably spread to her brain and lungs and I should put her to sleep. I was desperate to find a second opinion, and I was referred to this office. Dr. Perez was able to confirm that the tumor was localized and did not spread, therefore recommended that we operate. Dr. Perez and the staff have been extremely kind, attentive, and show that they genuinely care about the well being of your dog, rather than making massive amounts of money like the other vets. They are extremely affordable and can sometimes work with you on multiple payments. My senior dog had her surgery today and is doing great!

They could tell I was nervous and the doctor took his time to explain things to me. Very family oriented office. I HIGHLY recommend and I wish I would have found this office sooner!

This Dr treat you like a family's member.. Great respect, a very fair prices, and after so many year in south Florida , I have to said that he is a real vet with years and years of experience...

Great place to take your pets Dr.Perez is a great doctor however I miss the nice receptions that us to work there her name is Cinderella. The only reason I won't give 5 stars is because they're cureent receptionist Jenny was very hostile towards me when I had a question about my pet. This has been regular behavior of her and as such I no longer feel it's safe for my pet.

I have been taking my dogs through the years and I have recommended this hospital to many of my friends. Beside the reasonable prices the attention towards pets and pet owners come from a highly knowledgeable staff. I had the love of my life taking care by Dr Perez who diagnosed him with terrible cancer. I did not believe him and I went not only for a second but a third opinion which both confirmed the diagnoses. The staff at Le Jeune , took care of him through the years providing excellent care and recommendations. My dog was a fighter and those people helped him have glorious years before he went to heaven. I will be eternally thankful for that. Nowadays I take my two babies ( dogs ) there. I won't ever go to any other place .
