I was very pleased with my second visit. I was taken in at my appointment time and everyone was kind and answered all my questions politely and professionally.

I recommend Familia Dental to everyone. I hadn't been to the dentist for a regular check up in about 20 years due to lack of insurance and intense fear of the dentist.

Everyone there was very friendly and reassuring. Any time I felt discomfort from the cold water on a sensitive tooth that needs a root canal, the dentist immediately paused to give me a break. He was friendly, great bedside manner, just a nice guy all together.

And speaking of root canal, I had previously been to a less than stellar dentist who claimed my tooth would not only have to be pulled, but that I had to go for oral surgery to have it done. Dentist at Familia said the tooth is 100% able to be saved with a root canal. I appreciate that greatly because I don't want to have a tooth pulled if I dont absolutely have to.

For the first time in decades I have a dental plan and I'm actually excited about moving forward with taking care of my teeth.

I also would like to point out that I have state insurance and was not treated any differently because of it. I read so many reviews for OTHER dentists where there seemed to be a trend of discrimination towards people on Medicaid.

As for the facility itself, it was clean and modern. Each dentist chair has its own flat screen to help distract you, lol. There's also a play room complete with jungle gym for kids.

Overall, I was surprised and impressed and recommend this place to everyone!

***I'd like to add to this after reading other reviews... I called on a Thursday to set up my appointment. I told the lady at the scheduling center that I was in extreme pain. She was able to book me for that Saturday. I was able to get an appointment right away, by my standards. And I'm very busy, so Saturday appointments are a godsend.

When I arrived, I arrived ten minutes early for paperwork just like they asked. My appointment was for 1:30pm, and I think I went back around 1:25. Not only were they prompt, they were early.

Once in the room, the hygienist started on the stay a immediately and the dentist promptly followed and got to work. He was gentle and kind.

After my appointment we needed to schedule an appointment for a few fillings. I was able to get another Saturday appointment a month later, which I don't consider to be bad.

I plan to schedule my three kids, including my autistic son, for appointments here. Not a decision I take lightly. I thoroughly recommend this place.

This was ok, but I feel like the staff and Dr were unprofessional presenting themselves. No greeting no introduction. They do what they have to and just leave. I didn't even get a chance to talk with the Dr and the assistant just said ok we're done and starts to clean up. My son wasn't even out of his seat yet.

All the staff were kind and didn't take me year like other places to schedule an appointment. The dentist was awesome! Never seen kindness towards me and my kids. Thank you so much for everything!

Very nice people and they work quicklybso you in and out.. You don't wait very long to be seen. I would recommend this place to all people.
