LaFollete Park is a nice park that has a Newish playground and a big field to run around in or have a picnic. The park is more for older kids or younger kids with adult supervision.

Great fun for the kids. Only downside is during the hottest months there's not enough shade on the playground so by noon the equipment is pretty hot to the touch. There's a wading pool for the toddler's but it's not open until their naptimes which doesn't make sense.

Great park to take a nice nap and let the kids play on a hot day in the kiddy pool, it could be open a little later than 3pm other than that it's a great park nice and clean all you hear is kids playing having a great time ..there new playground is spiffy and there's a xylophone to play with..my daughter and niece love this park not to mention my sister baby shower was just there...great park workers and clean bathrooms !! Only thing that could be better is the rental Pavilion don't have air conditioning might rent again for a birthday party..

Perfect place to walk to dog or meet up with friends. Tables are in good eyesight of the play area so it is nice knowing you can sit and chat with a friend while the kids play but are still within eyesight and hearing range.
