This was my favorite Mexican restaurant in Milwaukee. Sadly, they will be closing soon as the owner moves on to new adventures. Totally authentic flavors and dishes you don't see in standard restaurants. Make plans to get there soon, because you might not find a place like this for a long time.

Lively music, very tasty food, yummy drinks. I had ceviche for the first time, it was very filling, savoury, and even somewhat spicy. This could be a main course for some.
I then got goat enchiladas with mole sauce, which isn't on the menu, but was offered when I showed interest in their mole sauce and meat alternatives. They were freaking scrumptious!
I drank a guava mimosa, which was pleasantly different than the usual orange juice variety.
Overall, I'm glad I checked it out. I've been looking for next level Mexican food and I think there's several more dishes I'd like to try!

I like Cempazuchi a lot, our servers name I believe was Chris. He was fantastic. The drinks and Margaritas are delicious, always take their recommendation. The only downfall to me is the Chips and Salsa, although they are delicious, they don't give you much salsa so I felt like a fatty when I went through 5 little cups of it. Other than that, I would say it is a great spot to have some good food!
