Have patronized this custard stand since childhood. I stop by every time I visit the Milwaukee area. Love their burgers and custard!

I was here the other day, and I felt bad for the employee that was being yelled at by the custard machines for not doing something properly. If you are going to yell at your employees do it in back away from the customers. Also, my shake I ordered was terribly mixed it was a little watery. Cold burger and old fries. Jill I believe was the manager on duty I told about my food and she told me that the burger was freshly made and the fries never are old. She argued with me about the way my food was. Maybe get respectful managers on duty. RUDE! I won’t be back. Instead of investing money on your building maybe invest a little time on your staff. Rude staff members make for a terrible business.

This is my first time....custard at Gilles and it does not disappoint. Deserving of it's Milwaukee fame!

Overpriced cafe food that doesn't taste fresh. The custard is grainy sometimes, and a bit too sweet. Tables are small and right next to people waiting to order. Although if the weather is nice you may find a seat outside.

Thought we'd try a different Milwaukee custard spot. Tasted like soft serve; had to stop at Leon's on the way home to get our custard fix.
