My friend and I had a delicious breakfast this morning as we have had before. We have also had good lunches. Good coffee too. Keep up the good work.

The food is excellent and the portions are huge!!! An order of pancakes could easily feed 2 people. The country fried steak has a half inch of meat perfectly breaded and fried. They give you two, I can put away a lot of food but I ended up taking half of it home.

Bad experience, not sure we'll go back. My husband and I have been going here for a few years and usually the experience is good. However, on Saturday, we went for breakfast, and the service and food were disappointing. The restaurant was full, but not crazy busy. Our server did not seem like she wanted to be there. She was very lethargic (I know servers don't particularly enjoy working on Saturday mornings, but its your job. I worked 10+ years in the service industry and sometimes you just have to fake it). I ordered a skillet and got an omelet, pancakes were soggy, and I found a large piece of a broken dish in my food.

The food was amazing and served in oversized portions. Maxfield's offers a great selection of breakfast, lunch and dinner items. My daughter is a picky eater and she composed a nice Al A Cart meal from the menu.
The wait staff were very friendly and busy, so I would suggest arriving early to avoid a wait. With some restaurants, waiting is not worth the food or the service...that's not the case for Maxfield's.
We were in town looking at cars for my friend, and Googled the best places for breakfast on a Sunday. I'm glad we stopped here and I give a 5-Star recommendation.
