Only fun for the hipsterest of hipsters, and confusing for everyone else. Uncommonly sparse decor, industrial aesthetic. They serve coffee and that is *it*, so don't choose it if you're hungry.

There wasn't anything that stood out to me about this place other than the quality of crappie was very good like so many copy shops have these days. I'm probably considered kind of boring when it comes to coffee because I appreciate a nice dark roasted plain cup however Urban being makes a mean cup of joe and I give them 5 stars. I love the Andre the Giant mural on the wall too that was really cool!

coffee was acceptable, but nothing special and small for the price. the place was so hot and loud. I went there to work and had to leave sooner than i anticipated because I couldn't focus. Music was up so loud that even with sound cancelling over-ear headphones i couldn't hear my own music (or my own thoughts). Tables were so sticky I was afraid to put my computer on them. There are so many great coffee shops around, I'll be sure to go elsewhere.

Used to stop here every morning for coffee.

Reasons why not, anymore:

-They don't actually open at 6:30am, despite what the sign on the door says.

-sometimes they don't have bakery items

-one time they didn't have coffee

-most baristas are more interested in their cellphones than customer service. Some won't even say hello, or thank you...even if you thank them.

-the creamer today was (clearly) left over from the day before (glass a quarter full, with crusted spots on the top glass, cap off container)

Really, the only reason I stopped here so often was because it's the most convenient coffee shop to stop at on the way to work. But, because of the aforementioned occurrences, I will support any other coffee house first and admonish anyone else to do the same.

This coffee house is the sad symbol of an increasingly gentrified area, all style & no substance, high prices to promote the idea of exclusivity & lack of care from ownership down to the (majority) of employees.

Very open and inviting. Finding a seat is not intimidating or hard. I come here all the time during the week to work on my homework. Out of many coffee shops I have tried in the area the seating at Urban Bean is the best for sitting and doing homework for hours. The windows and open light feel makes you feel you are still apart of the world while diving into a long days of homework. I would recommend this place to any student.
