my family and i have a lot of medical problems and they have helped out in so many ways! there is a lot of work to do unfortunately papers to sign and everything but once it's all worked out it's not perfect but pretty damn good
they cover a lot when i was struggling i called and they were able to tell me everything i could go legally as a minor or places i could go and how much they would cover
now as far as medince they sometimes had gotten it off or forgot to cover it but the way i see it everyone makes mistakes and no everything isn't perfect but they're a lot better then what they could be! but it's nothing a phone call can't fix

My company adopted this insurance company and in less than 6 months I am absolutely disgusted by it. I am essentially sent homework every time my son sees a doctor. They wont pay claims unless the member completes the to-do list they require. From day one there have been problems getting prescriptions paid and between my doctors office and I hounding them daily it still took them 3 weeks to clear a prior authorization on a medication I had been on for 2 years, causing me to get very sick. I have never disliked an insurance company so much! And to be quite frank, from a medical professional, they are not courteous at all on the phone. I am desperately hoping our company doesn't renew our insurance with them next year...

Just had a simple question about a bill that I misunderstood. The woman on the phone talked down to me the entire time and made me feel like an idiot. After clarifying everything, I thanked her and said that was my only question, and she hung up me. There is no reason to be so rude to someone and then not even say goodbye on the phone when you work in customer support.

I had a great conversation calling in to ask questions about coverage. Was on hold maybe a minute, the customer service agent was patient and even answered commonly asked questions I hadn't thought of yet.

Laurie and Sue at the customer service line, were less than useless. Long story short, had to call repeatedly regarding a pre-cert. Was told I could leave Sue a message..but not get her direct line. After 10 days no response (more 30 days into the process), tt Laurie, who also wouldn't give me an extension but told me to tell my DDS to call her, but not specifically though, because they can't give me a direct extension to call. I asked for written determination, was told "sorry, can't do that".. why the secrecy?!?! I pay for this insurance but I cannot have a phone number or written denial explanation?? Then called DDS, told them to call Laurie... they said, as a provider, they only get transferred to a phone bank in India when they call, so there will be no speaking to Sue or Laurie. I have this insurance through work, but if you are making a marketplace choice, stay away from this disaster!!
