large, spacious, well-kept. Had our wedding ceremony - quick and simple - at the gazebo overlooking the lake. Lucky for us the State Fair was on so the park was mostly empty. Def worth spending an afternoon picnic or simply lying on the grass with a good read!

Powderhorn Park was on the outskirts of the city early on. Beautiful period homes surrounding the park exemplify the strength of the city. Park infrastructures retain original characteristics.
Powderhorn Park means many things to many people. There is diversity surrrounding the acres of park space.
The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board takes meticulous care of Powderhorn Park.

This park is BEAUTIFUL! The new playground equipment is great for kids of all ages, and the new zero entry pool is perfect for toddlers and only goes as deep as 2 feet. Don't forget to watch for the ducks, geese, and turtles!

Had a great time here. Lots of open space, small lake you can walk around and a wading pool. I brought the dog and hung it for the day. Beautiful park

The community comes alive in this park. It is never empty, full of life, especially in the summer. Baseball, soccer and basketball games, new wading pool and playground equipment. Community center offers free Zumba and Yoga classes, among other services. A truly community-run park.
