I stop here a couple times a week and the staff is always nice. I've even forgot to be pay for my bagel and when I called to apologize they laughed and told me not to worry about it. Toasted salt bagel with light, light cream cheese. That's my jam.

Best, freshest bagels I have found in the Twin Cities, after moving from Brooklyn NY for three years. No true comparison to NYC bagels can ever be made and there are varieties of bagels here that would make a New Yorker squirm (or at least, scoff) - especially the sweet varieties, blueberry, cinnamon, etc. And there are non-bagel options, deli sandwiches, soup, etc, that I have not tried. Major personal peeve: way too many staff members stare Incomprehensibly, when they hear the word "lox." If I go into a bagel joint and have to explain an order of "bagel, cream cheese and lox," I am going to be suspect of the training of the staff. There are enough varieties of bagels (minus the sweet ones) to satisfy different tastes. I particularly like the rosemary and olive oil variety. Bagels are pretty consistent between stores. Cheaper than a trip to the Big Apple.
