Stayed at the DoubleTree by Hilton. We asked the front desk for breakfast or brunch recommendations, they of course directed us to their breakfast buffet. It was pretty sub par on all accounts. Service wise noone achknowledge us for a good 5-10 minutes, went up to the till to ask if we could get a coffee and go up for the buffet. Also had to go up to the till to request a water and the bill. It wasn't very busy and it's not like they had to take orders down. The servers were very friendly when you got them to help you. The food was ok... Your regular breakfast stuff, breakfast potato's, bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs.

I ordered the tacos and got a total of one tablespoon of brisket and 2 tablespoons of grilled onions in three circles, each the size of a silver dollar cut from one white flour tortilla. All for only $11.00.

I was pleasantly surprised at the food in this hotel restaurant...it was very good! The best part was our waitress, Yvonne. She went out of her way to make our dining experience a plus by being attentive & pleasant. I'd definitely go back.

Bar food very sub-par. French fries limp and greasy, Walley fingers where burnt .
Waitress was delightful in the Bar on the eve of last Sat night in June.
Great Rasberry Vodka cocktails!

Probably one of the better hotel restaurants I have tried. I have been traveling to Golden Valley quite a bit lately for work so I have eaten here a few times already. The service is quick and friendly. I have tried the fish and steak mostly and both were very good. It does seem a bit expensive but it is very convenient if you are staying at the Double Tree, especially if it's 0 degrees outside, so it all kind of works out really.
