I work in Marin.
I thought I would hate this place.
I didn't.
They took a lot of the culture around the Marin food scene (local ingredients, artisan cheese/charcuterie) and localized it.
Fantastic interpretation.

Their food is Awesome! Love their appetizers! You have to tray the jícama tacos. (they probably have a different name). Mini taco..

I've been to Marin more times than any other restaurant in the Twin Cities - more than just because it rhymes with my name. The service is spectacular and I enjoy options that provide nutritional value awareness. The bartenders are always willing to provide cocktail profiles and recommendations to suit the mood. We enjoyed a couple of flatbreads and the Seasoned Chicken one was outstanding and packed big flavor. I sampled the Springtime in Paris champagne cocktail which offered springtime floral notes, but also helped me forget how cold it was outside here in frigid minneapolis. I'm excited to visit again soon to try their Sunday Dinner tasting menu.

If your looking for a relaxed evening with some girlfriends this is a great place! There happy hour is wonderful. Great prices on drinks and the bartender Jesse was a delight. Will definately be going again.

Marin is SO so so good. My family was in town visiting Minneapolis so I took them to what I knew was one of the best restaurants in the city and it was AMAZING! My Dad orders salmon dishes at pretty much every restaurant he goes to and he said Marin had the best salmon dish he has ever had. I had it too. It was cooked perfectly and the celery root pilaf that came with it was light and fresh and perfect . The carrots were my favorite side dish and the peanut butter cup dessert was ridiculous and out of this world. We ate so much food and walked away feeling light and good because everything was prepared in a healthy, sophisticated way and with so much skill. On top of the 5 star food – the environment and staff are amazing. Tim and Jaeylen could not be nicer people and the restaurant It is warm and inviting and just the right ambiance to create memorable nights. thank you Marin we love you!
