The concept of the mall is lovely. It full of African and Arabic goods, and the prices are ok. But some venders try to charge Americans more than they charge people native to their homeland. Yet some venders are fair with all. The Henna is amazing here 5 stars for that. Amina (lima bean)and Sebrina the best in the mall They are hip and trendy.
If you are looking for unique curtains and rugs this is the spot. Luxury looking curtains in so many different sizes.
What made me give this place 2 stars is the women's restroom area. It is always filthy. it looked like it had feces on the walls. the place was in need of a deep clean. The water faucet was not working well so I had to wash my hands in the area used for washing for prayers. I hope it wasn't disrespectful.
If the restroom was clean it would have received 4 stars for the cultural experience alone.

Cheap $1 parking in the lot with lots of interesting shops. Folks are generally very polite.

I have been to this mall several times and have always enjoyed myself. The people are welcoming and friendly (always willing to help in any way they can), the stores have beautiful clothing, the restaurants have great food, the Somali tea is wonderful, the smoothies are fantastic, and the mosque and henna are amazing. The only complaints are, at times, the parking can be horrendous and the bathrooms are quite dirty and wet.
