I have had great experience previously at Denny Kemp. It's my most favorite hair salon. That's why I came back this time even though I don't live in the neighborhood anymore. I called for a haircut appointment, I asked for Sara jo (she cut last time for me and did an amazing job). But the operator told me she is not with Denny Kemp anymore. I asked her to set me up with a stylist who is an expert with Curly hair. She set me up with Manuel , I trusted her and went ahead with my haircut. My experience was awful !! Manuel was very rough detangling my hair .. he did an average job with the haircut , just applied a hair cream and left me to dry under the heat dryer. He didn't know how to care for curly hair at all . This appointment ended up costing me $80 , I'm super disappointed. Won't return ever again.

Pretentious salon. Stylist I had actually did a very good job but I left unhappy because the whole time Time she had an attitude about me using a Groupon and made disparaging remarks about Groupon users. Very unprofessional. What is the point of advertising with Groupon if you treat potential customers with absolute disrespect?

DENNY KEMP IS THE BEST!
I have been coming to him for decades.
Denny is an ARTIST, an expert stylist, and a kind person. He is generous, fair, a businessman, and outstanding special person!
How about helping to get him to take a vacation of 3 weeks?
I am sure a lot of us would like to see him be around a very long time. He is less likely to live a long time with all the stress and little if any true vacations.
I HAVE A PLAN!
How about you join me in Bombarding him with vacation picture suggestions that you send him
to him at his salon in North Minneapolis?

Choose this salon due to a Groupon and it being close. Love the atmosphere and the staff. Very professional and love that my stylist took the time to ask what I wanted. Did an amazing job! Highly recommend this salon!

Great experience. I get a feeling of being very relaxed
and peaceful when I enter the salon. I enjoy the salon for so many reasons. The staff at every level
is tops. Each and every stylist in the salon is so unique and talented. While getting my hair cut I enjoy
watching the creativity of the other stylists
It is really a great place...
