I accompanied my girlfriend to a visit with Dr. Wilson, and he stepped out of the room for a minute and we both look at eachother like 'wtf just happened?' He talks a mile a minute without actually giving any information, then drew an imaginary bell-curve and said people on one end are borderline-crazy multi-taskers and the other end is super calm and you wonder how they do it - then he gets up and takes a call mid-sentence... guess we know which side he's on..

Anyway, she has a Traumatic Brain Injury with resulting arm tremors, and he spent the whole 25 minutes or so talking about our 20,000 year old genetics. The whole visit basically boiled down to him talking about how everything we experience are from genetics; all her migraines and muscle tremors aren't neurological, she just pays more attention to them when she's having a bad day; and that students at the U are stressed and swamped with work because it's their personality and genetic code! I'm like umm...I went there for 5 years and I can safely say, no, it's not. Yes, some people handle stress better than others, but it doesn't mean that people are predisposed to anxiety and panic attacks due to their genetics with no hope of ever changing. But he just dismissed me outright and said it's their genetics.

He ended up not giving any diagnosis at all except for "it's your genes" and referred her to a psychologist.

It was pretty terrifying to see another reviewer on here say that Dr. Wilson tried diagnosing MS as depression! and that person has more than my fullest sympathies and heartfelt-wishes that they get better!

If Wilson is any kind of doctor, it's a geneticist, and not neurologist. Don't waste your time, because you'll get nowhere and walk out confused!

misdiagnosed!! Dr. Wilson flat out didnt bother to test me for anything. Dr. Wilson ruled my symptoms out as depression just because i was previously diagnosed and beat my depression. went back to my regular doctor, had an MRI done just to find out that i was experiencing my symptoms because i had MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS! WASTE OF A MONTH OF POSSIBLE TREATMENT TIME. i wouldnt recommend this old QUACK of a doctor to anyone.

About three years ago I was diagnosed with Bells Palsy. The ER I went to recommended I see Dr Wilson as a follow up specialist. When I first met Dr Wilson I was devastated. I'm in my twenties and the last thing I wanted to hear was that my face may never recover from the paralyzation due to the Bells Palsy. Although I appreciated his honesty it was one of the most difficult things I could hear from someone. Dr Wilson proceeded to give me tons of helpful information. Looking back I am so thankful for the honesty and for meeting Dr Wilson. Why? Because in the midst of our conversation, he discovered another problem I had that I never knew existed... migraines. Growing up I had migraines, I was never able to concentrate, I was an emotional person, and most of all I always felt like I never "felt good." Come to find out, I have a chemical imbalance which causes migraines which then stems to my behavior. Since discovering my migraines and Dr. Wilson helping me treat them, I am a much better person. I have more patience, I can rationalize, and I am migraine free! There is no better feeling in this world than knowing that I'm not that "crazy" person I once was. I owe everything to Dr. Wilson. I feel he saved my life. I would definately recommend anyone who has neurological problems to sit down with Dr. Wilson. =)
