IHOP is IHOP is IHOP as far as the menu and the layout is concerned. The staff makes the difference. The wait staff is friendly, as is typical of Missoula restaurants, and seem dedicated to providing good service. You often get a feeling that this IHOP is slightly understaffed and you might wait longer for your food than you expected. We eat here frequently and the wait staff is stable. However, there may be turnover in the kitchen as communication between the wait staff and the kitchen sometimes breaks down. We find we have to send back about one item out of twenty.

We went in at an off hour. Not a lot of staff or customers. Our waiter was friendly & efficient. The food was good. It was a good visit.

After an hour of waiting for our meal we left. The restrooms were absolutely the dirtiest we have seen with garbage overflowing, urine on the seats and litter on the floors. This place was totally mismanaged and dysfunctional.

Great service, would have given a 5 star but the women's bathroom was really gross. Every toilet looked filthy and the floor had toilet paper all over. I did inform the waiter. The food was great though.

Most food is pretty good but they consistently bring under cooked bacon even though I specifically request "CRUNCHY CRISP BACON". One day I sent it back twice trying to get crunchy crisp and they still didn't get it right. I shouldn't have to keep explaining crunchy crisp means CRUNCHY CRISP!!!
