Love Kitchen on George. It’s a great place all around. Good location in midtown and it’s got a really great atmosphere. Very local flavor and cozy. My wife and I love it. We try to not to go to often but only because it’s a special place to us and we want it to feel that way every time we go. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu, and they could get away with higher prices. If I had to recommend anything it would be to stick around for coffee and desert. The bread pudding is Dynamite, and the best I’ve eaten in Mobile.

Several years ago we lived in Mobile and would frequent this establishment. After returning home for the first time in years my husband and I were excited to be back in the Port City to dine at what used to be one of our favorite little quaint restaurants. To our surprise the host was not as excited to seat us. I was first asked if I needed something. Mind you its a restaurant so food would be the perfect response. After saying yes I'd like to be seated. I was told to wait to see if I could be seated. Mind you only two tables were seated with a 4 people at the bar. He returned to say I'll seat you but it will be rushed. So in response I said you all really don't want to serve us. He said I reallly don't know how to say this. You do the math. We will definitely never return.

Are you kidding me, the worst dinning experience in my life. Overpriced food small orders and terrible customer service even for a bunch of ignorant uneducated redneck Mobilians standards.

Excellent mid week lunch. Great prices and great food! The atmosphere was nice and quiet. Sooo enjoyable. Can't wait to go back.

Highly disappointed in staff and chef. This is not the first time that I've had a bad experience at KoG, however it will be my last. You can make a reservation as a birthday, have the restaurant call and confirm that it's a birthday reservation, yet at the time of the event have a waiter ID the person who's having a birthday and not even say a word. Why even bother making a birthday reservation? The five course meal left you wanting more food. Yes. FIVE. COURSE. MEAL. And you're still hungry. The head chef doesn't even bother giving an explanation of the dish, just "dish #1, dish #2"... This just seems like a good place to set your money on fire and pretend that you're part of Mobile's elite.
