I've been going to the Modesto Outback Steakhouse for many many years. By far my dinner experience last night was the worst. The customer service was horrible. Started the night off with a waitress who absent and I had to constantly ask for refills for my guests at the table. My steak was the wrong cut and when I simply suggested my order was incorrect, I was met with a very unconvincing manager who suggested my order was correct. Because of the large dinner party I was hosting I chose not complain any further so we could move forward with our evening and eat dinner. My guests asked for A1 steak sauce and each were given a small plastic container of sauce. When my bill came, I found discrepancies and the waitress charged me for another entree I did not order. I used to choose the Outback over Texas Roadhouse, Cool Hand Luke's, and Tahoe Joe's because of their food, customer service, and honesty. But unfortunately it appears that has all changed. I am hoping last night's experience was an isolated experience. Maybe choosing another steakhouse is an option which is necessary for now.

The food was great and our waitress was very nice and attantative. One of us got the all u can eat shrimp and she kept asking if we wanted more. She also kept our drinks from running dry. The best waitress we've had in a long time.

I was out of the area locally and stopped in for dinner when i saw the outback sign. It was a family atmosphere. Their food was excellent. Had a wonderful time there.

Our server was Elise. She is such a great server. She timed everything perfectly so we always had good and didn't have to wait on anything. The food was so good. But really I can't say enough about how good the service was that we got from Elise. Can't wait to come back
