I would NEVER recommend anyone to bring their animal to American Pet Hospital on coffee rd in Modesto. By far the absolute most insensitive, and inconsiderate staff. My dog, who meant more to me than anything else in my life, recently passed away so I took him to American Pet Hospital the morning of June 26th right when they opened, so I could have him cremated and bring him back home. I had a lot of concerns about this process, but my main question was, "When can I pick him back up and bring him home?" They made it clear to me that "within two weeks" someone would be contacting ME, to go pick him up. So I waited two weeks and a day then called, I was told they don't know where he's at in the process yet so for me to call back...this went on for one month. I got really irritated and told them if it was going to be longer, to at least give me that realistic time frame instead of having me run circles not knowing what's going on. Every single person I had talked to over this passed month has been extremely insensitive and uncaring and unhelpful. I was promised that YESTERDAY he'd be ready for me to go pick up. I had to work so I called today first thing and now they're telling me possibly Thursday because they messed up on what I wanted written on his plaque on his urn box. Like are you kidding me???? They do not see this is a priority when it really needs to be one. For most people, their pet is their life. The fact that my pet died, and they saw how distraught I was the morning of his passing, taking him in, and they're in no hurry to return him or even at the very least be kind in helping inform me throughout the process, shows a lot about the way they treat their patients and their patients owners. Not ONCE have they ever called me this past month. I've called multiple times every week. I hope none of you ever experience what I'm going through with them. Not only am I already going through a really heartbreaking time because of my loss, but American Pet hospital's staff is just adding such a huge load of more pain and stress to this time for me when they should be most sensitve. DO NOT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR ANIMALS. By the way, tomorrow marks one month of dropping him off and I still do not have him back in my custody yet.

they killed my best friend. they killed the best part of me. I curse Dr. Sandhu, his family and all employed by him including their offspring to spend their lives having constant bad luck, misfortune, grief, fear, hesitation, uncertainty and failure. This curse will not end until they learn the lesson for what they have not been told, The answer to be found in within them or myself. I can end this curse at any time. This staff is very friendly, you can tell they love the job. The vet is knowledge and the animals seem to like him. This vet is clearly not in it for the money. I shopped around and he had the best prices. The meds are adorable and they have no problem calling it into your local pharmacy if you need them to. If you have pets you need to check them out. They are open 24 hours too!!!
