You know how you always dream about a Star Trek advanced medical future? Well that future is here and it is happening at Dr. Pechak's office. If you have ever had flap surgery, don't ever do it again. Instead get the LANAP treatment with Dr. Pechak. I went to Dr. Pechak years ago for laser surgery, and now go to his center whenever I need periodontal work done. I am in the middle of a tooth replacement, and really appreciate the work they do at Dr. Pechak's office. Dr. Pechak and his top notch staff really care about your well being and comfort, and they are incredibly professional and effective. I had gone to another periodontist for surgery, and ended up in tears after a barbaric flap procedure on just one quadrant. Then I found out about Dr. Pechak's laser surgery, and they were able to do the same procedure without any suffering on my part, for remaining three quadrants. Dr. Pechak really listens to your needs and understands the level of empathy and information you require. From my experience, I highly recommend Dr. Pechak and his staff.

I never had a chance to see if Dr. Pechak was the "rated #1 implant specialist" because of the bewildering customer service I received. Following a friend's recommendation, I made an appointment with Dr. Pechak to replace a loose Alpha Bio implant. Upon my arrival Doctor examined my problem and offered a treatment plan, which I accepted. Dr. Pechak requested some specific information from my primary dentist in Israel in order to prepare for the procedure. He received this information within a few days. Fully confident that I would get help I waited for a week, then another week and another. When there was no call from Dr. Pechak, I went to his office, where Doctor Pechak asked me to buy a tool on EBay.
I connected with the Israeli clinic to verify the type of a tool Dr. Pechak had requested I buy. They warned me not to purchase it from a private party on EBay, but from an authorized dealer. Also they provided me with information that the Israeli Alpha Bio system is identical to the American implant system, Zimmer and the doctor can use his own Zimmer tool. I was glad to get such a simple solution.
However, my attempt to communicate with Dr. Pechak about this fact had a zero result. Soon after, my problem became worse. I called multiple times and spoke with Nevie, Britnie, Carol, Jackie, and Clarisa. All of the receptionists asked me to explain the whole story from the beginning. Then they promised to call me back, which never happened. Finally I decided to make an appointment and personally explain to the doctor that his Zimmer tool is universal. After telling my story again, the receptionist put me on long hold. A new person Maya came on the line and demanded I "to stop bothering her team" and instead "go back to Malaysia or Thailand to unscrew your problem". I asked her to please let me talk with the Doctor. She responded: "my dear, Doctor is busy now and after he finishes he has to go and play with his kids " and that no appointment will be scheduled even if I am suffering with pain because I have to buy a tool from eBay first. To my question which tool, she said, "just Google it!"
The advertisement of Dr Pechak practice in Carmel magazine states, "everyone has priorities and it SO EASY to make YOU last... if your health is not well, you may not be there for others. It all begins with the wellness of your mouth." Do I have the right to get help from "rated #1 implant specialist" if it "SO EASY" to make me last, Maya?

Overpriced. Must have extremely high rent.dds.was rough and did unnecessary work .at my age I DIDN'T want a OVER hall .just wanted one INPLANT. But no that subject was not brought up.just what he wanted to raise the bill.rough.rude.took unnecessary pictures with a camera. Go elsewhere. Have you ever been to a bad mechanic. Where you go for tires.and by the time your done its thousand s later.brakes, shocks, new engine. Paint job.well this is him.

Dr. Jochen Pechak is the best doctor! Kind, thoughtful, and gets the job done with gentle precision. He takes excellent care of all his patients. Maya who runs the office, is the nicest lady and always makes me feel comfortable. They have a wonderful staff! I highly recommend the Perio & Implant Center of the Monterey Bay!

I suffer anxiety with any dental procedure, but I actually look forward to visits to Perio & Implant Center! Dr. Pechack is kind and understanding of my fears and takes time to alleviate them. His staff are attentive and friendly, with extra attention paid to making you comfortable.
Dr. Pechak is professional and expert in his field, which earns your respect and confidence immediately. He explains clearly and allows you to make the best decision.
I am especially impressed with Ryan, Dental Hygienist, who is skilled and knowledgeable. While considerate of his patients, he is always mindful of any sign of discomfort ( which I assure you won't have any ). He is fun and enjoys his work which he takes pride.
In fact, everyone genuinely is happy to assist. Maya was especially helpful with billing, and didn't make me feel rushed or bothersome.
The office has a "spa" decor, which exudes a calm, welcoming atmosphere. Coupled with exceptional service and care, Dr. Pechak offers the best in Periodontics!
