Ordway has been sold to RiteAid - experienced mass chaos and long lines for prescription refills. Some of the staff left. I no longer go there for regular prescription refills.

I used to go to Costco for their pricing, but switched to Ordway since their pricing on prescriptions is very similar to Costco. The other reason I prefer Ordway is that they have better pharmacy house and open on Sundays. When I've been too sick to pick up a prescription, they deliver for a nominal fee!!! The majority of the staff is friendly and helpful and will go out of their way for customer service. It's wonderful to have an old fashioned pharmacy right in the neighborhood. They also have an extensive inventory on medical equipment. And - they have parking right outside their back door.

This has got to be the most unprofessional pharmacy on the Monterey Peninsula!! I've encountered several incidents from employees that seem to be very uniformed and uneducated in the field for which they work. Plus this pharmacy over charges insurance. Seems they like it that way so they don't have to pay staff a decent wage!! I used to be a regular customer of theirs but recently I've had to go to a more professional pharmacy for my needs!!

Ordway is a wonderful family owned pharmacy. Vince really cares about customers and his staff. One can tell that those who work there are happy and enjoy helping customers. Prices are right and they take most insurances. The staff definitely goes above and beyond. My favorite section of the store is the shoe and sandal wall. So many options, great prices and so comfortable! I love SAS shoes, and Cindi and Gasper are so knowledgeable and helpful!
