First off, I need to admit that I hate, hate, hate, going to the dentist! The drills, the sounds of them even gives me anxiety.
After trying several other area dentists I tried Dr. Keller. I will never go anywhere else. They are kind, caring, gentle and make the experience as painless as is possible with today’s technology. Their dental hygenists are also extremely conscientious and do a fantastic job when I get my teeth cleaned. I’m almost 60 and Dr Keller is much younger so I think I’m set for life with this dentist. They are absolutely top-notch!

My family and I have been going to Nampa Smiles dentist for several years now. I'm no huge fan of the dentist but they make the experience so very pleasant that I don't really mind going at all! From the beautiful flowers at the front door to the elegant waiting room to the ceiling-mounted televisions and friendliness and competence of the staff - you can tell that they have designed their whole practice around the ease and comfort of the patient.

My sons (aged 6 and 3) actually look forward to going, since there is an awesome playroom for them to hang out in, complete with books, arcade games, and a television. The hygienists are so gentle with the kids and are great to explain what they are going to do, that my shy 3 year old actually let them do a full teeth cleaning, which blew me away. After the kids are done, they are given not only a cool free toothbrush and mini toothpaste, but also a token that then can 'spend' on a toy of their choice from a gumball-type machine.

This might be silly, but I also love that they don't guilt trip you when they take care of your teeth. I've had a bunch of fillings done there that were caused by not flossing well, and they never make me feel bad that I don't take care of my teeth as well as I could. They mention what I could do to prevent more fillings but it is always done in an informational, not condescending manner. And it might be coincidence, but it seems to me that they underscore this point by keeping a plate of chocolate chip cookies at the receptionist's desk! (They also have free trail mix and water bottles in the waiting room).

As far as competence goes, we've been quite happy with them. My whole family included, we've had maybe 20 fillings done there, as well as cleanings every 6 months for the past few years, and we've never had any problems.

I would recommend Nampa Smiles to anyone in the market for a new - or better - dentist!

Loved the service till I was misdiagnosed. I had a tooth filled. My tooth was infected with a deeply rooted absess. I went back 4 times and in breath taking pain. I was told my tooth was fine and no infection. The Dentist at N/S referred me to a Neurologist for facial never pain. I have no insurance and ended up in the ER. Because the dentist said it was not my tooth. I had to get a brain MRI and was on heavy medication. Out of work for a while. The Neurologist was looking for a tumor or cancer. I was being treated for TriGeminal Neuragla. 2 months later it was determined I had a tooth infection. Dr Nampa smiles basicly said Sorry but you have to have an emergencey root canal the cost will be 1500.00 they offered no discount and I had to came up with the cash so I can be healed. I wish they would of helped with all my unnecessary hospital fees. The cost total was over 5000.000
