Best dentist ever!!!! I have had many dentists in my lifetime so this recommendation does not come lightly.

Dr. Hartley is the most talented dentist I have visited. He is kind and gentle, and he has a great sense of humor. He and his staff make everyone feel at home.
Dr. Hartley is careful to make sure his patients feel as little pain as possible, but, at the same time, he is meticulous about safety. He refuses to use nitrous oxide because of the risks and the accidents. This is ok because his shots are not painful. I can't explain this. I expect the shot to hurt like usual, but, most of the time, I don't even know when the needle is in.
The thing I like most about Dr. Hartley is his honesty. He only does work that the patient needs. I didn't know this was a thing before I knew him. Every other dentist I have visited filled at least three cavities every time I saw them. I even noticed at one point that it was always three, but I never doubted the need. I just did whatever I was told out of basic trust.
Dr. Hartley explained that many dentists make money by performing as many procedures as possible whether necessary or not. I had no idea. I have been his patient for nearly 9 years, and I can count the number of new fillings he has done on one hand. I also have not needed a single root canal in all this time showing that Dr. Hartley is not neglecting anything.
So, if you want a pleasant experience and the best dental work around, go see Dr. Hartley. If you want to spend a lot of money, get knocked out, and have a lot of fillings in your mouth, go see someone else.
