Our favorite restaurant in the Treasure Valley. This little hidden gem will please your taste buds. Menu has a great variety and the prices are very reasonable. The service is fast and friendly. I can't say enough about how good the homemade food is here. We are regulars here and will continue coming back. Yummy biscuits and gravy!

I'm warning the reader of this review ahead of time that it's going to sound as if I work here and am trying to up my tip revenues- no such thing! Fact is I'm an independent business owner here in Nampa, and it ain't food service I do, it's food eating =) (and the staff here will verify)

With that being said - this has got to be Nampa's best kept downtown secret! If you are looking to be graciously served by people of good character in comfortable surroundings, and eat some of the most delicious American Classic cuisine available in the greater west Treasure Valley, Honker's will hit it out of the park for you. This is authentic food here, folks, fairly priced, with virtually every item on the menu, including pies!, prepared here and honestly home style all the way, with even the sauces, dressings, and gravies all made according to original recipes developed by the owner & staff, most of whom are family of one sort or another. These folks appreciate their customers, treating all very personally, as if we/they were family (I witness this every time I come in). The long and short is that I'd eat here every meal, every day if I could, and that ain't no lie =)
