I love Lighthouse Pediatrics and their whole staff. Dr. Dudley was my pediatric when I was young and also my brothers. Now that I have my own kids, I didn't think twice about having her as my kids pediatric. Her staff is very pleasant , attentive and very prompt to answer any questions and Teresa the nurse is amazing! I would recommend Lighthouse Pediatrics to my family and friends. WE LOVE DR. DUDLEY!!

Very unpleasant experience. Called there because we're relocating to FL and they have been on the list provided by my insurer. They told me that they are not accepting children older than 12 (?!!) - really?? I asked them if my 14 year old daughter is not allowed under a pediatricians care and if she is considered an "adult" already. They said she is too old (!) for a pediatrician and will not be accepted unless she has been with them from infant age onwards. We are relocating from out of state and my daughter has been under her pediatricians care all those years, it's not her fault that she has to move. This is such a ridiculous statement, I do not have any words. I have contacted our insurance and they were quite stunned. They have told me, they will contact their office and ask if this is correct. If confirmed by their office, the insurance said they will take this practice off their network list.

Dr. Dudley has taken care of my whole family for over 30 years. Both of my children have been patients there as well. The past few visits we were treated very poorly by Teresa (her nurse) and she is 100% the reason we left Lighthouse Pediatrics. I have cousins that take their children to Dr. Dudley as well, and they also have been treated very poorly by Teresa! We recently switched Doctors and I wish I would have done this sooner. Every single visit, Teresa would have an attitude, be VERY rude to my whole family and made the visits uncomfortable. She has zero bedside manner which is disappointing for a nurse working with children. Two weeks ago, I took my daughter (3 yrs old) in to get looked at for a possible urinary tract infection. When Teresa checked my daughters weight and height, she forgot to tell me to take my daughters shoes off. She got a huge attitude because she had to weigh & measure my child all over again. Teresa then told her to urine in a cup and bring her the sample. As expected, my child did not understand why she needed to urinate in a cup, so I told Teresa we couldn't get a sample. She looked my daughter dead in the eye and said "WE CAN DO THIS THE EASY WAY OR THE HARD WAY!" I was shocked! I asked her what she meant by that, and she said either she urines in a cup or (her exact words) "GETS A CATH STUCK IN HER." Dr. Dudley then came in the room and explained why my child needed a catheter. So of course I trusted her & allowed it to happen. Dr. Dudley then left the room and in walks Teresa & another nurse. Teresa told me to lay on top of my daughter while the other nurse held my daughters arms down. Teresa did not try to calm my screaming child down ONCE. My daughter was hysterical and terrified and so was I. The nurse laying on my daughter sang to her and tried her hardest to calm her....all while Teresa was extremely aggravated that my child was squirming. Once Teresa got the sample, she stormed out of them room. If you plan to send your children to Lighthouse Pediatrics, do your family a favor and REQUEST A DIFFERNT NURSE! This woman should not work with children!

Doctor Shepard has been my daughter's pediatrician for 9-10 years out of her 12 years. My daughter loves her and wouldn't ever dream of going anywhere else. Doctor Shepard is an amazing and caring Doctor. Couldn't ask for a better pediatrician. Doctor Dudley has also seen my daughter in the past and she is just as amazing a pediatrician. Their practice is more than 40 miles from our home but I wouldn't dream of changing. I believe children have to be comfortable with their doctors and my daughter is.

Dr Dudley is an amazing super down to earth Dr!!
I love her fun happy approach to everything!
Amaia whines she whines louder stops her in her tracks every time!!
