I've eaten here twice now, and I can say, with confidence, that this tiny, boutique restaurant is head and shoulders above their competition.
This last visit fell, unintentionally, within their Happy Hour and what a stellar surprise! $5 apps (tapas) from smoked salmon to quiche to fantastic pomme frites. There were a number of drink specials too, but as a reformed bar fly, I stuck with soda water - Pellegrino? I think. On a final note, it should be noted that this IS the longest serving French restaurant in Naples and I do believe it's the best. If I was forced to choose a single restaurant for the rest of my life, Bazenne would near the top for sure...

Authentic food with helpful polite staff. Great sidewalk cafe. Would love to come back for coffee and dessert.
