I'm so full I can barely type. But this place is deliciousness on a stick. You know it's gonna be good when your uber driver says "Oh my God, yes! Do it'" when you pull up.
Prime rib hash could have used a smidge more seasoning for my tastes but the biscuit was divine and the lemon blueberry pancakes... So good. Great attentive service too

I have wanted to try 417 Union for a while so I was excited to come with family today. The biscuits were good although it was a bit disappointing they were out of jam. We had them with honey and syrup (I prefered the syrup). The pancakes were phenomenal are are a must have if you visit. My eggs were overcooked (I asked for them to be cooked light), my potatoes were cold and the grilled chicken was bland. My sister had smoked salmon and eggs and her salmon was hard. My daughter had chicken tenders and fries with homemade ranch dressing. The chicken tenders were ok but the fries were really good and the ranch was amazing. Overall the food was bland but the biscuits, pancakes and ranch dressing were delicious.
All in all I would give a 3.5 out of 5 rating.

Really nice inside, food is great! The prime rib hash was excellent! The pancakes are perfectly cooked as well, crispy around the edges, awesome. Good quality food

One of Nashville's truly great breakfast places. BUT - don't forget 417 for lunch or even dinner. The rest of the menu is great. The bbq burger is the best I've had anywhere! No exceptions. The place is cozy. The WWII and Civil War memorabilia is really great. And the service is first-rate with an especially friendly waitstaff.

Breakfast is a big deal in Nashville! So skip the standard, overpriced hotel fare and check out a local eatery, like 417 Union. It is a funky, vintage space with rustic southern cuisine.
A small menu so not matter what you order, it is handcrafted and a specialty. I highly recommend getting a side of biscuits to share- they are amazing fluffy and dense a the same time. Perfectly crumbling and melting in your mouth! I opted for pancakes- I wasn't up for their house special of chicken and waffles or steak hash. They were perfectly cooked and accompanied by a plate or well done bacon and house made syrup.
If you have a cup of tea- know that it is also a house blend. Or you can pick from a big list of breakfast cocktails. The waiter didn't blink when the young people at the next table were ordering beer at 9am.
If you are down Broadway, make a point to stop for a meal, you won't be disappointed. 417 Union is a Nashville gem.
