In up-and-coming trendy Germantown, SILO has managed to get all the variables in place to cement a foundation as a solid go-to. A southern-inspired menu hits all the correct nuances, and maintains a level of class and sophistication that's a contrast to the city's many honky tonks and chicken joints. Small and large plates, as well as meat / cheese plates give diners options, and the opportunity to explore and share with their companions. A robust wine list, with an extensive bourbon selection are not to be missed, as is Sunday brunch.

Silo has been a stalwart of the Nashville food scene and one of the first elevated menus in Germantown long before it was cool. The menu is constantly changing with the seasons and ingredients always fresh. Happy hours is one of the best deals in the city and also serves as a great date night spot. My birthday is this month and looking forward to book the private room for my party.

Warm and inviting atmosphere for business or dining with friends and family. Attentive waiting staff, great farm to table rotating menu, and terrific mixed drinks. Silo never fails on devliering a great dining experience.

First I must say the banana bread French toast was fantastic. That being said, the plate it was served on was ice cold, therefore my French toast was cold. The hash brown weren't hot either, and they were greasy, unseasoned, and dry. (The hash brown were broken French fries) . The same could be said about the house made breakfast sausage, dry and unseasoned. Maybe the worst part was that our server seemed oblivious to my responses when she asked how everything was.

I love it when the kitchen closes early. Walked in at 10:45 and the bartender immediately announced that they are shutting down, no greeting. Then he had to check to see if the kitchen was still open after we informed him that we were just interested in a few small plates. Well we waited a bit and when he came back he told us it was a slow night and they closed early. "Sorry about that"
I own 2 restaurants and I let my staff know that I didn't open them to turn people away.
