Not sure how to start. Difficult to find, on purpose, and not really clear what you're doing when you first get there, but once you're seated you have the most knowledgeable and service-oriented servers. Great snacks, but the drinks are expert-level concoctions that are perfectly layered. Absolutely love this place and the idea.

It has the feel of an Alumni house of an Ivy League University. Beautiful inside, but not a real speak easy feel. I had great craft cocktails, and a side of olives. The olives arrived with no eating utensils. I requested an olive fork or toothpick and they provided me one toothpick. The olives had pits but no worries they gave me a spit cup. I feel at a certain price point, eating with hands and spitting should be avoided on a menu!!! A pleasant experience, but not to die for by any means. Bar ONLY. Did not eat dinner. I feared more finger foods.

I absolutely love coming in to the Patterson House. Camille is a wonderful, sweet, knowledgeable woman. The rest of the staff is great too. The drinks are beautiful. Just be honest about what you want and what you like. If you're genuine and polite about not liking something they'll make you something new, no problem. It's fun to people watch here. The ambiance is relaxing and swanky. The tater tots are really top notch. One of my favorite parts of this place is one of the house rules: men can't approach women they don't know, unless invited or introduced by a friendly party. As a young woman, it is really comforting to know that I won't be bothered when I'm there and allows me to relax further. I would recommend the Patterson House to everyone visiting Nashville.

This was our first night out since having a baby. We had a phenomenal experience and were cared for above and beyond our expectations. Excellent drinks, excellent food, excellent dessert, and excellent service. We are very thankful for Camille who made it a special night.
Oh and something to try...
Step 1: Order the pimento cheese and mini burgers
Step 2: Put the pimento on the burgers.
Step 3: See Heaven.

Drinks are on par with exceptional bars in New York, Boston, Philadelphia, Los Angeles, and other major cities. It's not a place to get sloppy drunk, but start your night here. And order the bacon maple bourbon old fashioned.
