Just want to say that the whole staff is amazing! I have signed up for the puppy plan and it truly has saved me tons of money. When you walk in you feel like they know you personally and truly care about you and your pet. If you are looking for friendly and knowledgeable staff who will treat you and your fur baby like royalty come see this team!!!!! - Maizie Blue

My precious Jake has been a Banfield dogs since he was 6 months old. We moved to Nashville TN when he was11/2 yrs old and this month he will be 8 years old.
The two office's I have taken him to the first in NJ to the 100 Oaks office has been wonderful to Jake and to me as well, he is a support dog and I am a nervous dog mom and I worry myself sick. The 100 Oaks staff has been amazing to us both. One particular incident Jake ate a potty pad.
Jake was in bad shape, Dr. Lawrence went out of his way to help Jake while being sensitive to my financial situation. Jake has beeen cared for by all the Vetranarin there and Jake and I are always treated with the utmost respect and Jake is doing great! Thank you all so much!!!!!

Rude people that find ways to screw you over with the wellness plan that covers nothing. I tried to cancel after 2 months and was told that the benefit of the service i received was over $1000 and they would charge me that cost if i cancelled. The services they are referring to was just a checkup and worm prevention. Definitely not $1000 worth of service

We love all the staff at Banfield. Our three dogs are all rescue dogs and they are great at accommodating us with the little issues each one has. They remember each one every time we go in. We love the prevention plans they carry and they are very affordable and make it possible for us to properly care for all of our dogs.

My dog and I had a bad experience here. She had an impacted anal gland (gross, but it happens). When I noticed the problem, I called and asked if I could bring her in the next morning. I was told I could.
Kate and I showed up at 7am. A receptionist checked us in, and a nurse took Kate back to look at the gland. The nurse came back and said that Kate would need to be sedated and undergo a minor surgical procedure to empty the gland. However, the doctor wouldn't be in until 8am. He would call me with a full plan after looking at Kate.
Nervously, I left Banfield and went to work. Three hours later, I still hadn't heard from the doctor. I decided to go get Kate and take her to her regular doctor, in my hometown two hours away.
When I arrived at Banfield, the receptionist was very cold, borderline hostile. I asked if I needed to pay anything, and she just ignored. Finally, the nurse brought Kate out. She looked at what the receptionist was doing on her computer and said, "No, don't charge her for that. We didn't examine her or anything."
Which means that Kate was just sitting in a cage, with an uncomfortable and time sensitive problem, for hours.
When I finally got Kate to her regular doctor, they cleaned the gland (by hand, without sedation) in about ten minutes. Then, they gave Kate some antibiotics and anti-inflammatory meds and sent her home. She has recovered just fine.
The only bright side of this experience is that I got out before Kate received an unnecessary sedation and surgical procedure.
