Cozy churrascaria where you can feed a crowd really economically with delicous large servings of churrasceria style chicken, Portuguese rice, and amazing portuguese bread rolls. Love the tomato garlic sauce. Very small dining area that gets packed on weekends. Well worth it.

New Bedford has a lot of Portuguese restaurants... Most are good... A couple are really good... But Novo Mundo is THE BEST... From food, to service, to the staffs personality and family style atmosphere... Truly top notch...

Great small portuguese restaurant. You can dine in or take out. A great value for good quality food. Must try their house hot sauce!

I have been going there for years & they are getting overwhelmed. When the previous owner was there, they were more efficient. If they think a huge bag of fries is going to impress me, it's NOT!! Ordered a steak with an egg on a Portuguese pop to go, she asked me how I wanted & all she yelled out was steak on a pop!!! No egg or peppers on it, over done, for $9, that I paid!! Not worth it!! & I don't need to hear how early they got up that morning, while I waited. Very unprofessional. Too bad!! Not too many Portuguese restaurants in the south end of NB. No I don't want to go back to get an egg & peppers, that I should have gotten in the first place. Oh, & the Portuguese pop was microwaved. Not nice!
