My experience with cheap auto rentals was great. The receptionist was very friendly. The first garage I took my car told me it was my transmission. While taking the rental car back last Friday to cheap auto rentals. I spoke to the owner briefly about a trade in. He asked me what the issue was with my car. I explained to him my mechanic told me I needing a transmission. When I told him the price he offered a better deal at half the price. He asked me to have my car towed to the Hamden location on Saturday to be checked out. After calling Monday to check on my car it turns out it was only the right axle, and not a transmission that was needed. It's so refreshing to know there are still some decent mechanics out there, who won't try and take advantage just because your a women..

They have horrible cars that are unreliable and break down on your way to work!!! And they still charged me for the whole time even though the car broke down!!!! They are very unprofessional, and theyre all thieves!!!!

The cost per day is very low. However the condition of the cars they offer for rental are horrible.

If I could give them no stars I would! First car I had broke down in 3 months. So I was put in another car that broke down. They put me in 3rd car which also broke down. By this point I was enraged I jus wanted all my money back but of course I couldn't get it back. I was cheated out of my money. These cars are definitely cheap/ no good. You get Wat you pay for. I wouldn't recommend this place to abs. No one!!
